Fulham are reportedly prepared to wait until the end of the season to decide the futures of their six out-of-contract players.

The Cottagers are aware that full-back Kenny Tete and Tom Cairney are among those who are set to become free agents at the end of the season.

Willian's deal also expires on June 30 after the Brazilian re-joined the club on a short-term deal in February following his exit from Olympiacos in December.

Adama Traore, Raul Jimenez and Carlos Vinicius are the three other players who could walk away for nothing this summer.

However, the trio have options in their respective deals for Fulham to trigger one-year extensions until the end of the 2025-26 campaign.

According to The Standard, Fulham are yet to decide who they will extend and who they will let go at the end of the season.

The report claims that the Cottagers will put off any decision until the summer, partly because the club's final league position will play a role in Fulham's decision-making process.

Fulham manager Marco Silva, CEO Alistair Mackintosh and sporting director Tony Khan are all set to play a role in finalising any new contracts.

Silva's role in such situations has reportedly grown over the years, although there may be some concern as to whether he will still be in the dugout next season.

The Fulham boss has been mentioned as a potential candidate to replace Ange Postecoglou if Tottenham Hotspur opt for a change of manager this summer.

Are Fulham in the hunt for European qualification?

The futures of the six out-of-contract players could potentially be influenced by whether Fulham secure European football for next season.

Having collected 48 points from 33 matches, Fulham are sitting in ninth place and nine points adrift of the top seven.

While that may be an insurmountable gap, there is a strong possibility that the top eight could be enough to qualify for European competition.
