Liverpool have confirmed that Conor Bradley has signed a new long-term contract at Anfield.

The 21-year-old has made 27 appearances for the Reds during the 2024-25 campaign, including 17 outings in the Premier League, while he has represented the Merseyside giants on 55 occasions in all competitions.

Liverpool have not confirmed the length of Bradley's new contract, but according to ESPN, he is now committed to the reigning Premier League champions until the end of the 2028-29 season.

"To sign another contract, I'm very proud and happy to see what the next steps on our journey together will be," Bradley told Liverpool's official website. "You've just got to keep your head down and keep working hard.

"It has been a fantastic two years [with the senior team]. Especially since coming back from loan and doing so well last year and continuing that on this year. It's been really good. So, hopefully we can keep going and keep making more memories."

Bradley has signed contract with Liverpool 'until 2029'

When asked about his targets for the future, Bradley said: "To play even more games but also to win more trophies. I think the whole point of playing football is obviously to win trophies and be successful.

"So the more of them we can win, the better it will be for me and the whole team. Hopefully if we can keep doing that, it'll be a good next few years at the club."

Bradley, who is the captain of Northern Ireland, made the move to Liverpool in 2019, progressing to first-team level in 2021, and he became a regular in the senior side following a successful loan spell at Bolton Wanderers.

What does Alexander-Arnold's exit mean for Bradley?

A route into Arne Slot's starting XI will seemingly open up next season, with Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving on a free transfer, and Real Madrid are widely expected to sign the England international.

Bradley is the favourite to start next season at right-back, but Liverpool are believed to be on the verge of signing Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen, with the Netherlands international set to be another option in that area of the field.

The majority of Frimpong's best work comes further forward, though, and it is understood that Slot views the Dutchman as a player capable of making a difference down the other end of the field.

Alexander-Arnold's defensive issues have been highlighted throughout his time at Liverpool, but Bradley is strong from that point of view, and he could be the perfect right-back to operate in Slot's system, with his chance to secure a starting role likely to come next season.

The defender started the 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League last weekend before being substituted for Alexander-Arnold in the 67th minute of the contest. body check tags ::
