Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Leicester City.
Sports Mole

Arsenal will be aiming to make it three Premier League victories in a row when they continue their domestic campaign with a trip to struggling Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners will enter the contest off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United in the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final on February 5, but their last league game was a 5-1 success over Manchester City on February 2.

Mikel Arteta's side are currently second in the Premier League table, six points behind leaders Liverpool, who will have the chance to move nine points clear when they face Everton in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday night.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Leicester, who are down in 18th spot in the table, two points behind 17th-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Gabriel Jesus

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Jesus will not play again this season due to a serious knee injury which he sustained in January, with the Brazilian currently working towards being available before the end of 2025.

Bukayo Saka

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: April 1 (vs. Fulham)

Saka continues to take small steps in his recovery from hamstring surgery, but the England international faces a huge battle to be back on the field before the end of March, with his return potentially coming at the start of April.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Tomiyasu is making progress in his recovery from a long-term knee injury, but it is unclear when the versatile defender could be available for selection again.

Ben White

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: February 15 (vs. Leicester)

White has not featured since undergoing knee surgery in November, but he returned to first-team training during the club's Dubai trip, and there is a chance that the defender could be back in the squad against Leicester.

Kai Havertz

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Havertz suffered a torn hamstring during the team's warm-weather training camp in Dubai, and according to journalist David Ornstein, the Germany international will now be absent for the rest of the season due to the seriousness of the damage.

Gabriel Martinelli

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: March 9 (vs. Manchester United)

Martinelli damaged his hamstring in the team's EFL Cup defeat to Newcastle last time out, and the Brazilian is not expected to be available for selection until at least the clash with Man United in early March.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for the Premier League fixture.
